Gavin has been in the plumbing manufacturing industry for 30 years, offering the public custom composite bathroom options. Pekaia Living Design is something he has been planning for some time, to bring a quality modern product to the marketplace. Gavin is also a passionate competitive swimmer who balances his passions for water and work with his family of two beautiful girls, wife Isabel and their dog Farley.

Robyn’s experiences in the plumbing industry, as well as 25 years in design and management, have led her to develop Pekaia Living Design. She is proud of Pekaia’s innovative drain system and the modern designs that she developed with Pekaia’s master design technician. She is a busy mother of three and enjoys a balance of work and family time.

COMTRIX is a combination of crushed stone and resin which is blended from low VOC raw materials. These eco-friendly products are warm to the touch, and resistant to stains, bacteria and mildew. COMTRIX is stronger than acrylic. It muffles the noise of pounding water and doesn’t creak or flex. COMTRIX is easily maintained to keep its original lustre.

All Pekaia products have been engineered so that standard plumbing fixtures and installation techniques can be used. This allows easy and cost effective installations.

All Pekaia countertops come with our new innovative ABS overflow system. The system was designed and is produced and installed at the production facility ensuring a continuous quality standard. Our master design technician created an innovative hidden drain chamber exclusively for Pekaia. The chamber lies beneath our decorative stainless steel plate and allows for a standard pop-up drain to be installed so you can fill your sink, an industry first.

The entire Pekaia line was developed using clean crisp lines, design features, and colors. All of this gives you a modern, visually pleasing and timelessly elegant product line.
